There's No Elevator To Success...

When your goal is to be successful at anything, you have to be making an active effort to reach that destination. Depending on where you're starting and who's helping, it may seem that you're on an easy streak. No matter how minimal, you will have to put in some sort of work until you reach a retirement level. Even when you are fortunate enough to hit the lottery or win a lump sum of some sort, there is some action required on your part to ensure you don't end up back where you started. The road to succeed is like an exercise regiment from hell. The hardest part is getting started, it can suck. But as you start to notice your progress and get tunnel vision, the work becomes second nature. It never gets easier, you just get stronger and more efficient. Don't be afraid to put in the extra effort in the beginning so you reach your platform a little sooner.
